Like the title above says, the new Droids for 2013 from Verizon should be available in store today for sale. It may take a few more days for all stores to carry the new Droid models from Verizon but by the week’s end all verizon stores should carry the new devices. If you’ve pre-ordered you could be lucky and get yours delivered today, but if you order directly from Verizon directly these are supposed to be available by the 27th of August if not sooner.

There are  3 Droid models for this year’s lineup:

Droid Maxx – $299 with 2 year contract

This is the Droid from Motorola with the  biggest battery – claiming to have a 48 hour battery life (more than likely a bit optimistic) and features 5 inch screen, 720p HD display and 1.7 GHz Dual Core processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space and wireless charging capability

Droid Ultra – $199 with 2 year contract

This is the thinnest of the Droid models for this year and features the same processing and screen size as the Maxx but with just 16GB storage space.

Droid Mini – $99 with 2 year contract

For those looking for a smaller Droid model this year from Verizon the 4.3 inch motorola Droid Mini is a perfect fit for smaller hands or pockets.

If you can wait, you can save some money on these Motrola Droids by ordering direct from Wirefly where instead of paying full price from Verizon – either in store or online, you can get better deals on the new Motorola Droid models for Verizon

Droid Maxx – $199.99

Droid Mini –  $49.99

Droid  Ultra – $149.99

or, if you have an older motorola phone to trade in with motorola’s trade up program, you can get the Mini for free, and knock $100 off the others – trading your old motorola in will net you a Droid Ultra for $99.99 and the Maxx for $199 instead of the full price you’d pay for these at Verizon.

Unless you really need a new Motorola Droid today I would wait and order them from Wirefly or if you do have a trade in all you have to do is stop in to a Verizon store and get the $100 rebate off the new Motorola Droid models avaialable on sale today.
