The smartphone maker ZTE announced a plan that users can pay their phone plans between 6 to 24 months and can defer the cost of the device.
The lease plan is only for new and unlocked smartphones such as Axon Pro. The program also applies to other mobile devices such as portable projector Spro 2. ZTE said that this program offers great flexibility to choose and pay phone.
“We are announcing funding options because we believe that advanced mobile technology should be available to everyone. We also want consumers to buy and use the device ZTE”, said Lixin Cheng, CEO US ZTE.
The participants in this financing program can also cancel funding, return the device, purchase or renew your contract at any time. Depending on what you want to do, ZTE could charge interest.
If you do not have enough money, you can cancel the funding at any time, return the phone in good condition and upgrade to a newer phone within the funding program.
ZTE is a US company operating since 1998. According to Strategy Analytics, in the second quarter of 2015, ZTE was placed as the fourth largest manufacturer in the US and the second on prepaid phones.
Financing plans are increasingly popular with operators and manufacturers. Recently Apple introduced an annual plan in which users return their current iPhone, pay an amount and receive the latest model. Operators like Sprint and T-Mobile also have similar plans for phones and tablets.
