The series of smartphones Samsung Note is one of the best known in the world. Since the first model, 5.3-inch Galaxy Note launched in October 2011, Samsung has continued to offer devices with large screens and outstanding specifications. Last year, for the first time, the Korean company released a smartphone with a premium design. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was made of glass and metal.
This year, Samsung hopes to correct the mistakes of the past with Galaxy Note 6. The latest rumor suggests that the smartphone will come with the upgraded version of Snapdragon 820, such as Snapdragon 823.
This is not the first time when we heard about mysterious processor. Previously we heard that the processor will be used for LG G Flex 3, yet unknown smartphone Sony Xperia. However, the main question is in the other – whether the new processor is much better, than Snapdragon 820?
In short, yes and no. According sheet filtered specifications, new chip from Qualcomm will have 3.0 GHz cores, which would be a significant increase from the peak of 2.15 GHz of Snapdragon 820. On the other hand, the processor supports the same amount of memory as its predecessor, up to 8 GB of RAM DDR4, which is not unreasonable. The latest rumor says that the smartphone Galaxy Note 6 will be equipped with 6GB of RAM.
Also our source says that Samsung has already begun manufacturing the first large-scale LPDDR4 RAM memory modules for 12 Gb. Since there are 8 bits in a byte, 12 Gb chip could support up 1.5 GB of information. Thus, if 4 of these modules together in dual channel configurations, you might be able to get chips 6 GB of RAM, a privilege that would be reserved for Samsung Galaxy Note 6.
Thanks to previous leaks, we know that the future Samsung phablet would have features such as water resistance or iris scans, which we have already seen like ZTE Axon, and 5.8-inch screen with QHD resolution. To be sure, we will have to wait for the official presentation, which will be held a couple of months.
What do you think about future Galaxy Note 6?
