That didn’t take long. Earlier this week Samsung announced the new Samsung Note 3 and  the matching Galaxy Gear companion watch and just days later Verizon actually has this phone/watch combo ready for pre-order with a ship date of October 10. The note 3 will be $299.99 on contract or $29.16 a month for Verizon Edge or you can buy the Note 3 outright from Verizon for $699.99.

If you’re looking to get the Galaxy Gear smartwatch to match the note 3 you’ll need to cough up $599.99 on a 2 year contract or $999.99 for full outright purchase. Interestingly there’s no Verizon Edge option listed for the Note 3/Galaxy Gear combo.

The Note 3 features a 2.3GHz quad core processor, 3GB of RAM,5.7 inch full HD display and a 13 megapixel digital camera.
