Do you want to see how LED bulbs Nanoleaf works? Or you are interested to look at smart camera Butterfleye?

You will have the opportunity to give a taste of these devices thanks to a partnership between Target and Indiegogo. This collaboration would bring gadgets to Target Open House, which is in San Francisco, California.

“Indiegogo is a place where innovations are born,” said Kate Whitcomb, team leader of innovation Target. “We decided to work with them, as this is an excellent solution for those who want to test devices before buying them.”

Currently, the Target Open House will be available three products which have already been funded. These three devices are Oomi, a platform or hub to control your smart home products; Nanoleaf a smart bulbs that are controlled by voice; Butterfleye, a wireless smart camera.

“We have worked closely with Target to identify trends they are seeing with successful products in their stores and use these experiences as a filter to highlight campaigns with the best trends in Indiegogo” – told the President Indiegogo operations, Dave Mandelbrot. “At the end of the day, Target makes the decision which products to choose, but Indiegogo and crowdfunding sites in general have been a major factor in expanding its definition and metrics for success.”

Crowdfunding sites or mass fundraising have come to form an important part of the ecosystem of technology. The Pebble watches, digital Coolest Cooler and glasses Oculus Rift VR had successful campaigns in the Kickstarter platform.

However, the financing of these campaigns depends purely on the faith of the taxpaying public that want to receive the product at the end of the collection. Kickstarter policy requires is to return all the money to the public if the campaign is not successful. Indiegogo, meanwhile, allows the project to leave funds at the end of the campaign even without reaching the goal of financing.

Target and Indiegogo plan to increase the demand for financing of interest and quality products.

“Target understands the difficulties that a startup to make sure your product is ready for sale, and Target Open House demonstrates its commitment to help address these challenges,” Mandelbrot said in the statement.

If you want to try Indiegogo gadgets you can visit the Target Open House at the Metreon shopping center in San Francisco.
