Sprint launches unlimited data plan for $20 a month

Sprint announced a new plan for those who do not use a lot of data per month.

The plan called “Starter Unlimited Data” offers unlimited data, voice calls and text messages for $20 a month. After the customer uses a 1 GB of data, the speed is reduced to 2G.

It should be recalled that $20 a month data is added to US $20 a month for access to Sprint’s network means that the monthly cost for the wireless client plan would be US $40.

New Sprint plan “Starter Unlimited Data” is the cheapest among the four major US phone operators. In addition, differences with plans Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile in some respects can be significant.

For example, the main competitor of Sprint – T-Mobile – asks $50 a month for 1GB of high-speed data (reduced to 2G later) with voice calls, text messages and network access. But unlimited data does not provide access to some streaming music.

Meanwhile, AT&T charges $15 per 1GB, but costumer can buy only 2GB. So, for $30 the user receives unlimited AT&T with 2GB of high-speed data, voice and text messages. In addition to this amount, the client AT&T has to pay US $25 a month to access the network that carries the monthly price to US $55. The AT&T customer could pay US $45 a month, but only get 300MB of data.

The second largest US operator AT&T charges US $20 for each 300MB if you had 300MB plan and charges US $15 per 1GB in the other plans.

The largest operator in the country, Verizon, sells each gigabyte of data per US $30 and US $20 further charges by the telephone line. Then the price is similar to T-Mobile, but do not get streaming music. In addition, Verizon charges $10 a month per 1GB that you use on your fee.
