T-Mobile could arguably be the most aggressive mobile carrier when it comes to doing things differnently. For the most part, all the other carriers are still in love with the subsidized handset business model where you’re locked into a contract for 2 years in exchange for a subsidized price on the handset. With T-Mobile the pricing structure for their services are broken down into two parts:

  1. The Plan.
  2. The Phone.

You pay for the plan separately and then you add a phone to that plan. There’s no subsidy with T-Mo but you do get $0 down on some phones currently, including the very popular Samsung S4. With good credit you can pay nothing for the Samsung and then split the cost of the phone over 24 months to pay for the phone. If you decide to cancel service you can but you will have to pay the balance of the phone.

The Samsung S4 is one of the best smartphones on sale today and the fact that you can get it for $0.00 down is a pretty good deal and the phone will cost you only $25.00 a month for 24 month with 0 percent interest OAC.
