The Motorola Droid Maxx is one of the most popular phones of the season from Verizon with outstanding battery life, a 5 inch 720p display and software features such as active display and always listening technology as featured in the Moto X too as well as the other droid models released by Verizon just earlier this week.

The problem? Verizon wants $299.99 on contract for the Droid Maxx  but if you have an older Motorola Droid phone like a Droid 3 or some other phone like that (see here for list of eligible phones) you can get a $100 rebate on the Droid Maxx at time of purchase and the price drops to $199.99. (see www.mototradeup.com for full details).

Another way to get an instant rebate on the Droid Maxx is to buy the Droid Maxx from Wirefly instead where you can preorder the Maxx for $199.99 instead of $299.99 on contract and Wirefly offers a $100 instant rebate on the Motorola Droid Maxx making this the cheapest price on a new Droid Maxx without having to resort to a trade in like you have to do with the the motorola trade up program. If you just want to buy a new Maxx and save $100, Wirefly is  the way to go.
